I just wanted to say that the Route 66, your 2 books and everything else on your website are extremely beneficial. I have never seen a website with so much stuff that gets right down to the core of either why we are not reaching our full potential and ways in which we can. Thanks so much for sending me this and I’ll be seeing you at the top one day as well (smile).

Hi Jullien,

We have not met until now. I intended to be at the meditation this Monday, but had some transportation delays.

I am introducing myself to you because I wanted to share with you a heartfelt thank you. My short lived relationship ended yesterday and this morning I was crying. Feeling an overwhelming sense of sadness for the loss of a relationship & failure at work.

You responded to the thread and I read. My eyes became dry and I felt alive again after reading your pieces. 1) Dear Failure 2) The Invisible ATM

So, I write to you because I want to thank you for being the purpose finder. For sharing and inspiring me to be done with the tears and continue this exciting journey. Cheers.

Hope you have a good day,

S.S.

I can’t thank you enough for giving me more motivation to change my current situation. Your blogs, testimonials etc have really helped me to realize I can change my course and pursue my passion (whatever it may be). I decided not to attend business school for several reasons and trying to sell my condo so I can make moves. It’s funny from the outside people think I’m crazy for wanting to leave a “great” company with “great” pay to some unknown thing in a warm climate. But the fact of the matter is I’m not happy and definitely not fulfilled in my current situation.

Not going to keep rambling, but thanks again and keep doing what you are doing!!

Jullien aka Purposefinder,

“The only reward of virtue is virtue; the only way to have a friend is to be one.”
– Ralph Waldo Emerson

Today, you happen to be topic of conversation. No, not gossip!!! lol

You have been a positive influence and magnetic presence in my life. I truly believe that instead of bashing ones character, one should offer suggestions to help better and improve that individual. You, my dear friend, are an example of one who offers gifts to help others transform and improve. Thank you for your dedication and loyalty to your purpose because its truly miraculous to be a witness.

Thank you for honoring our friendship by always being there.

Mucho Mucho Mucho Love.

Peace my Brother. It’s been a while since we had built. I’m sure I’ve said it before but just in case. Thank you! You’re vision and motivation inspired me to look forward and progress. I love doing music. From writting to producing. It keeps me peaceful @ times when I’m surrounded by total chaos! I took the few tools that you’ve giving me and used them to acquire my happiness. We need more people like you to motivate the world to be productive even if all that is gained is peace of mind! Thank you, you’ve changed my life!

Thanks Jullien!
Wanted you to know that I really value the breif time that you gave me to work through application to Fuller. I wanted you to know that I took the GRE back in May and scored in the 97th percentile for writing, so I’m pretty stoked about that. My other scores leave something to be desired, but I appreciate your suggestions. I didn’t pay a dime for a course, but just studied like you said and took books from friends.
I’ve also been following up with a professor at Fuller, who recommended me for a new seminarians scholarship program at Fuller. I’m working on my personal statement and on getting my rec letters together, but I wanted to just say thank you so much for your giving me a framework to work with. I can’t say that I was always on point with everything, but putting the goals out in front of me has made all the different. I’ve even been blessed to close two transactions a month for the past 4 months (sometimes as many as 4 a month!, which I needed for the dry spell at the end of the last year and the beginning of this year!)
I still have a whole lot of work ahead of me Jullien, but I wanted to take a sec to say thank you so much for the encouragement, and for the framework to work toward my goals.
Cheers,

Delonte

All is great! Have some thoughts of gratitude for you below and am just about to finish your book and send it back to you. I feel so spoiled getting to read it for free and already have a list of people I want to send it to. Starting and GXG group with my friend Angela and hopefully Heather! All virtual via skype and email. Let me know if you need another round of outside eyes on it- I am happy to support in anyway I can.

Here is my newest DSFL inspired life improvement- Being a better friend! I find that now that I am more aware of when I am not striving for my own purpose and doing things which promote it, I have a stronger sense of when my friends and loved ones are doing the same. I am also more comfortable holding them accountable to living up to their full talents and dreams since I am more comfortable holding myself accountable. Being a compassionate, loving and strengthening entity in other’s lives is so important to me. Thanks for helping me grow in this area!
Have a fulfilling holiday weekend!
peace

Hi Jullien,

Thank you so much. Yes, I was thinking of you as a mentor more than as someone I had worked or collaborated with in the traditional sense.

I unfortunately did not get to know many of my professors past my freshman year, and that was on your list of 66 things to do before you graduate (oops!). That would have been a very useful list back then but I can make use of it now! Perhaps my classes were so big that I felt that it didn’t matter whether they knew me or not and perhaps because I did not truly love what I was studying so a part of me didn’t even try. Terrible I know.

You came to mind especially because of your workshop. It was the kick I needed! It got my wheels turning, and almost a year later, I’m actually making moves and focusing on what I actually want to do and I’m going for it.

I’ll have the polished statement and resume for you by this weekend.

Thank you!

Tanya

Hey Jullien,

I have been so busy and have not checked in with you. Since meeting with you, I was admitted to CSULB into the Masters in Counseling, School Counseling Program. I started last week and am enjoying it. I am taking the tools you shared and am applying them to my grad school experience. Thank you so much.

Greetings Brother Jullien.
I am so grateful for your message and for the my membership in the Driving School for Life community!  I am currently teaching English Language and Literature at an all girls high school in Belize City, Belize (Central America) and Preliminary English and Communications at a Junior College.  The purpose of my visit to Los Angeles (when we met), was to network with phenomenal people like you.  I moved back home in June.  I am working on a couple of Community Service Learning Projects with my students and our school neighborhoods – striving to alleviate poverty in our country by creating wholistic learning environments where single-mothers with their children, as well as, unproductive men, can create, serve and produce profitable educational and healthy consumables.  We are currently writing proposals requesting land from the government for the two respective educational institutions.  Our youth and newer teachers are excited about the possibilities and the refreshing mindset and practices I bring.  I have also started an underground campaign for Prime Minister.  I am still adhering to my 5 year plan, as outlined in our work together.
My son will be 6 years of age next week.  I am amazed and inspired by his development and our reflection of each other.
That’s my brief update.  I will email folks I know in L.A. your message.  I know you will meet your goal.
Infinite appreciation for being a divine reflection.  Melanie/Coach

Jullien,
Thanks for helping me find my purpose and pushing me to set my goals. I’ve decided to tweak my GXG. My goal is to reach sales of $200+ for my Creative Memories business. And I’ve committed to clean Mia’s bathroom if I don’t accomplish my goal by the 31st.
I know your GXG is on a roll!
blessings,

Kitanya

Jullien!

I’m sure you’re already aware of how much I appreciate your gift to humanity through the Driving School For Life, but I wanted to extend extra love in light of recent life transitions. Through the values of
confidence and personal development that I gained through the DSFL workshop, I mustered up enough courage to step back from my graduate studies program, and instead, develop my palate of work experience while moving closer to my purpose. As of last month, I made the transition into television and landed a full time producer-shooter position on two national/local shows for a large broadcasting station. Going from television to film has been one of my long-standing short term goals, and now that the foot is in the door, it will only develop and enhance my filmmaking skills. Thank you Jullien for sharing this enlightening and life-changing workshop with the world.

To living your dreams.

Much Love,

Tre
